How do I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets to any of the performances at The Art House via The Art House website – thearthousewyong.com.au, by phoning the box office on 02 4335 1485 or visiting us in person at the theatre at 19-21 Margaret Street, Wyong. The Art House will never sell tickets via a third party ticketing agency such as Viagogo. Always purchase tickets to our performances from The Art House directly via our website, phone, or visiting us in person. For more tips on buying tickets safely and securely click here.
When can I buy tickets?
The box office is open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday for phone or in-person sales. Tickets can be purchased on The Art House website at any time. The Box Office is also open one hour prior to all performances.
Can I choose my seats on the website?
Yes. Make sure you click on ‘Choose Seats’ to select your seats from the seating map. If you are ordering your tickets on a phone or tablet then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select to go to the ‘Full Site’ to be able to choose your seats. A seating map is available here.
I’m buying a general admission ticket, what does general admission mean?
A general admission ticket is a ticket to a show with an unreserved seat. Please choose your seat after entering the theatre or studio.
What does Concession price mean?
A Concession ticket price is for patrons holding an Australian Government issued Pension Card. The Pension Card will need to be sighted before tickets can be issued. Not all performances will offer concession prices, please check ticket prices when booking. All available prices are listed on each individual show's event page on our website.
What does a family ticket consist of?
A family ticket can either be 2 Adults and 2 children or 1 Adult and 3 children, and is 4 tickets in total unless otherwise specified.
Do you accept group bookings?
Group bookings are available on most performances. To make a reservation for 15 people or more, we will reserve your tickets until final payment is due 4 weeks prior to the show (subject to our T's and C's). Payment will not be deferred for group bookings made within 4 weeks of the show time. For full details on our group bookings policy please contact the Box Office. Please note that not all performances offer a Group price, so please check ticket prices when booking.
Can I bring a school group?
Both Primary and Secondary schools are catered for at The Art House. Please see the Schools page for more information.
Do you accept the Companion Card?
Yes. For patrons who require the assistance of a companion or carer, a ticket for the companion is issued at no cost to the Companion Card holder. If you have a Companion Card please let our Box Office staff know when booking tickets so that a second ticket can be arranged. The Companion Card will need to be sighted before tickets can be issued.

Can I have a refund?
Our Refund/Exchange Policy is as follows:
All ticket purchases are non-refundable. The Art House reserves the right to issue gift voucher requests, but these will not be issued for travel plans, change of mind, medical appointments/surgeries, or double bookings.
The Art House takes guidance from the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice.
In the event of a performance being cancelled or rescheduled, the ticket buyer will be entitled to exchange their tickets to the new date, convert their ticket price into a gift voucher valid for 3 years, or obtain a full refund when contacted by our Box Office staff at the time of cancellation.

Do I need to print my ticket or can I show them on my mobile device?
Our ushers can scan your tickets directly from your mobile device. We encourage all patrons to adopt paperless ticketing so please do not print your email tickets.
What if I forget my ticket?
If you forget your ticket at home then we can always reprint it at the box office on arrival. You will need to show identification to be able to collect your ticket.
Can children attend a performance?
Yes! Children of all ages are welcome and we encourage you to bring children to a performance, and also check out the program for shows specifically for young people. Children up to the age of 2 years are free of charge if seated on the lap of an adult. Children 2 years and over must have a ticket purchased for them. In most instances a child’s tickets is up to the age of 11 years unless otherwise specified. Patrons aged 12 years and over will require a student ticket (if available) or an adult ticket.
Patrons under 16 are encouraged to be accompanied by an adult whilst at the theatre.
We understand that attending a show with small children can be a stressful experience. If your child becomes unsettled or needs to leave the performance, our ushers will be able to help you out of the auditorium and let you back in at a suitable time.

Where can I park?
Parking is available free of charge in various spots across the Wyong town centre and close to The Art House. Please click here for a parking map of Wyong. The Art House is adjacent to a residential area, so please be respectful when parking. Accessible parking is also available in the laneway running alongside The Art House.
When is The Art House café open?
The café is open from 10am to 4pm weekdays serving a selection of light meals, cakes and snacks.
We offer a 10% Seniors discount on café items, and a free babycino for your little one with every hot drink purchased. These are available during café hours only. Find out more about The Art House Café here.
Is there café food available before the performance?
Selected cakes and snacks only are available prior to the show and during the interval.
Can I purchase a drink?
A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for sale at the bar inside the venue, plus a selection of snacks. The bar will be open one hour prior to each performance and during interval. As a licenced venue, The Art House meets and complies with the objectives of the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW). Our staff operate in accordance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements and aim to provide a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable environment for everyone visiting The Art House.
Can I eat and drink in the theatre?
Patrons are permitted to take their drinks and snacks purchased from the bar into the theatre for most performances.
Hot drinks and food are not permitted in the theatre.
When do the theatre doors open?
The front doors to The Art House foyer open one hour prior to each performance. The theatre doors open approximately 20 minutes prior to the start of each performance.
Can I take photos or make recordings during a performance?
No, due to copyright restrictions, it is not permitted to take any photos or make any recordings of productions.
Weekday Matinees
Please note that school day matinee performances are often attended by large school groups.

Running late?
Patrons arriving at the theatre after the performance has commenced may only be admitted to the theatre at the discretion of management, and at a convenient break in the program.
How long will the performance be?
Performances vary in length and on average can run from one to two hours. Where available, information about the duration of the performance and interval times is included on the individual performance information on The Art House website.
What should I wear?
There are no dress requirements and we suggest you dress in something you feel comfortable wearing, sitting in a public theatre. As a guide to suitable attire, most patrons choose to wear smart casual clothing.
How do I report Lost Property?
If you have lost a personal item during your visit to The Art House please report it to a staff member on site and/or email info@thearthousewyong.com.au with a detailed description of the item (including any identifying features), the show you attended, your seat number/s, and your contact details. Staff will ring you if your item is found for your collection.
Help! I have never been to the theatre
Welcome for your first theatre experience! There are no real rules, but some tips for you to enjoy your first visit include not talking loudly or using
your mobile phone during the performance. One thing you can do loudly is applaud the performance, and performers love this! If you are not sure when
to applaud, just follow what others are doing. Talk to our friendly front of house staff if you have any questions and most of all - enjoy!

Is your theatre wheelchair accessible?

Are service dogs allowed?
Yes, we are fully service-dog friendly. Service dogs are welcome anywhere in the building and theatre. Patrons are not required to inform the theatre they are attending with a service-dog.

Patrons using hearing aids may access the hearing induction loop available in the auditorium. In order to utilise the loop please switch your hearing aid to the "T" position.

How do I provide feedback or complaints?
Community members may provide feedback and complaints to The Art House in writing via the Box Office Feedback Form, via email to info@thearthousewyong.com.au or tickets@thearthousewyong.com.au, or via the website http://www.thearthousewyong.com.au/your-visit/info
Acknowledgement of written complaints/feedback is to be sent within 10 business days. The Art House aims to resolve complaints at the first point of contact however, depending on the complexity of the matter, further investigation may be required, upon which the complainant will be advised of when they can expect a resolution. The Marketing Manager oversees that complaints and feedback are responded to, and are forwarded to the Executive Director when related to an organisational complaint or are of particular concern. The Art House aims to resolve complaints within 20 working days where possible.
All personal details collected by The Art House in relation to the complaint will be kept confidential as per the applicable privacy laws, and will only be used for the purposes of investigating the complaint.
The Art House will try to resolve anonymous complaints however it may be difficult to effectively resolve the issue and enforce legislation without the ability to collect evidence or witness information, and therefore thoroughly investigate.
