Carla Edwards is a doco-portrait photojournalist and has been photographing strangers for 40 years.

HERStory is the first exhibition of its kind in Australia and is dedicated to telling the stories of Ex-Service Women. Commencing in 2022 as a passion project for Carla, what started as 7 women has grown to over 173 photographed and interviewed women, with another 50 from across the country on Carla's waitlist. 

364 + 1 is a collection of portraits from Carla's global adventures. Cowboys, mermaids and everyday folk - these portraits offer a glimpse into the eclectic lives of strangers and remind us all how truly big the world is.

Running in The Art House Foyer Exhibition Space from April 3-24. Open 10AM-4PM Mon-Fri.
