The Fab Fakes exhibition, now in its 27th year is open to all artists Australia-wide and will be held at its regular venue, The Art House, Wyong, from 4 to 30 October 2024.

It was 1998, when one of Tuggerah Lakes Art Society's members, Brian Hasler, founded the Fabulous Fakes Art Exhibition. Like many in the art society and art teachers, the best way to learn art was to emulate the ‘great masters’.

There are two categories this year, the original Fab Fakes, a copy of a ‘master’ artwork and a Fun Fake, a humorous take on a ‘master’ artwork.  

Winners will share a prize pool of $4000!
